Schneiderman Aids Effort to Overturn Authentic Marriage

In papers filed in the case of Windsor v. United States, Attorney General Eric Schneiderman challenged the constitutionality of the federal Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA), which defines marriage for federal purposes as a union between a man and a woman.
A lawsuit challenging the legality of the process that brought gay “marriage” legislation to the floor of the New York State Senate was filed in the Livingston County Supreme Court on Monday, July 25, 2011.
By now you’ve no doubt heard that same-sex “marriage” passed the State Senate June 24, by a vote of 33-29. 29 Democrats joined four Republican senators to pass gay “marriage”. Sen. Rev. Ruben Diaz (D-Bronx) was the lone Senate Democrat to vote right, while four Republican Senators: Alesi (R-Perinton), Grisanti (R-Buffalo), McDonald (R-Saratoga), and Saland (R-Poughkeepsie) all voted to redefine marriage and the family.
New Yorkers for Constitutional Freedoms Reacts to Reintroduction of Gay “Marriage” Legislation
Assemblyman Daniel O’Donnell (D-Manhattan) has broken from what had been a tightly choreographed strategy to pass same-sex "marriage" legislation in New York. Mr. O’Donnell refused to wait any longer for New York Governor Andrew Cuomo to introduce a program bill that would legalize same-sex "marriages", and took what looks to be an independent action to introduce the gay "marriage" bill once again.
