New Yorkers for Constitutional Freedoms is more than just lobbying.  Each week our ministry hosts a weekly legislative prayer breakfast at the State Capitol. The breakfasts are normally held at 8:00 AM Tuesday mornings in Room 211A (LOB).

The meetings are open to all legislators and staff in the Capitol complex as well as any other interested parties. The meetings are non-partisan and non-denominational, but do study the Bible from the historical and orthodox Christian perspective.

This year's study takes us on a journey of Old Testament accounts. It examines both the upper and the lower stories of our lives. In the upper story, we'll see that God is real, that He is present and desires relationship with the people He created. In the lower story, we'll be reminded that we make mistakes, run from God, and resist His love toward us. We'll constantly look at how closely entwined the two stories are. We are human. We fail. Yet there is a God who loves us and who seeks relationship with us.
