We Are Not Alone

Recently, I had the privilege of spending some time with my good friend Nicole Theis. Nicole is President of the Delaware Family Policy Council.  Delaware?  Why, were you in Delaware?

Well, because we have a lot of things in common, and if there are some things that New Yorkers for Constitutional Freedoms has figured out in New York, I want to share that information with others that are fighting the good fight in their states. Likewise, I am sharpened in my skills and encouraged in my spirit as I spend time with others involved in defending life and marriage.

For those of us engaged in the spiritual battles in our legislative halls, the fight can be intense and relentless. At times we are prone to discouragement and what I call the “Elijah syndrome.”  Elijah experienced some tremendous victories, yet on the heels of this, he cried out to the Lord and in essence said, “I’m alone. I’m the only one left.”

The Lord reminded him that he wasn’t the only one engaged in the battle, but that there were indeed 7,000 who had not yet bowed the knee to a false god.

I'm honored to stand alongside Nicole, our friends at the Delaware Family Policy Council, and those of you here in New York standing up for the pro-life, pro-family perspective. You and I are not alone, Christian.  Keep fighting the good fight for faith, family and freedom.
