There is a week to go before the US Senate Primary, but polling indicates that huge swaths of voters still haven’t decided who they’re going to vote for on Tuesday, June 26th. Father’s Day Sunday the three US Senate candidates debated on YNN and NY1. Capital Tonight summed it up as, "What happens when two conservatives (Wendy Long and George Maragos) and a moderate (Congressman Bob Turner) walk into a debate." Watch the debate in its entirety on YNN’s website. New Yorker’s Family Research Foundation (NYFRF) believes in an informed electorate. We want educated voters. That’s why NYFRF is pleased to announce an endeavor that will empower you to make an informed and clear choice on Primary Day. NYFRF will be hosting a voter forum with the Republican candidates for U.S. Senate on Thursday, June 21st - and you are invited to participate. It’s a phone conference so you can attend from the comfort of your own home. Two of the candidates have confirmed their attendance (Wendy Long and George Maragos). We're still awaiting a response from Congressman Bob Turner. For 90 minutes we’ll be asking questions you’ve submitted via email, Facebook or Twitter. NYFRF will be reaching out to 250,000 households (more than will probably even vote in this primary) so you will not want to miss this opportunity.
