The Agenda PDF Print E-mail

One thing I have to say about our legislative opponents, they are open about their agenda. Last week, the Empire State Pride Agenda posted their primary goals for the coming year. Their agenda includes:

  • Passing the “Bathroom Bill” that opens public restrooms, locker rooms and shower facilities to people of the opposite sex.
  • Directing more of your tax dollars to address the health and human service needs of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community. I understand this to mean that because there are higher instances of sexually-transmitted diseases in the LGBT community that LGBT activists would rather address symptoms, instead of the sexual deviancy that causes these diseases.
  • Ensuring that the Dignity for all Students Act is fully-implemented. Instruction in homosexual and transgender behavior will be included in public school education starting in September 2012.
  • Defending gay-friendly legislators so that they can maximize the impact of New York’s gay “marriage” law across the nation. If legislators supporting same-sex “marriage” lose their seats next November, it is less likely elects in other states will vote for homosexual “marriage” in the future.

There is no question about it, 2011 was a rough year for pro-family forces in New York, but we cannot let up. Our opponents will not, and neither can we.
