Former Assemblyman Anthony Seminerio (D-Queens) was sentenced to six years in federal prison, and ordered to repay $1 million for abusing his office.

The judge said Seminerio "accepted bribes and engaged in extortion as part of a decade-long scheme to use his office - both literally and figuratively - for personal gain and at the expense of the public trust."

Seminerio is in 73 years old and in poor health. Please pray for him - that he, like Chuck Colson, will find forgiveness through Jesus Christ in prison.
