Governor Andrew Cuomo submitted a $132.5 billion 2012-13 budget to the State Legislature. It’s $225 million less than what the state is spending this year, a cut of 0.2 percent. It’s not much of a reduction, but at least it’s a reduction.

Well, not everyone is happy with the Governor’s proposed budget. At New Yorkers for Constitutional Freedoms we expected union bosses to be unhappy. We knew many state workers wouldn’t be thrilled either, but it was a bit of a surprise to see gay activists up in arms over Governor Cuomo’s State Budget.
